Heat press settings
Pick the transfer and the blank. You get the numbers the maker publishes for it, with a reminder that the product label wins if it differs.
Short answer
There is no single setting for all iron-on. Siser lists EasyWeed at 305 F for 10 to 15 seconds with medium pressure, while Cricut's Heat Guide lists Everyday Iron-On on cotton at 315 F for 30 seconds with an EasyPress 2. Always pre-press the blank first, follow the peel instruction, and if the label on your roll differs, the label wins.

Why there is no single setting
Each iron-on has its own adhesive, so the maker publishes its own time, temperature, pressure and peel. The press matters too: Cricut's Heat Guide lists different numbers for different EasyPress models, and Siser asks EasyPress users to add about 30 degrees to its heat press values. When a product or press is not in this table, start with the maker's guide for that exact product and press a test piece on a scrap of the same blank.
Pre-press, press, peel
A short pre-press removes moisture and wrinkles from the blank. Press with even pressure for the full time, then follow the peel: hot means right away, warm after a short wait, cool only once it is cool to the touch. Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
Press types
Choosing a press is covered in heat presses and transfers.
